Grace Gillen

Grace has been a member of the team since 2017 and is responsible for developing and delivering training opportunities for professionals who work with children and young people around all aspects of their health and wellbeing. Some of the courses she delivers include Safeguarding Awareness, Neglect Awareness, Children and Young People’s Mental Health, as well as Child Development.

Grace also supports schools with the implementation of their Relationships and Sex Education (get in touch to find out more!).

Grace has a strong background in working with children and young people in a range of settings including youth work, youth consultation projects and sexual health settings. Her specialism is within Relationships and Sex Education, as in her last role she delivered training packages on sexual health to professionals working with young people. She has also worked in public health and adult social care where she has gained experience of working in all aspects of health promotion.

Outside of work Grace likes to be outdoors and can often be found running, hiking or travelling to new and interesting places!
