Flexible Learning for employees

Sefton Council recognises that learners can be of all ages and are developing the workforce to meet the changing needs of the council. The council provides a Corporate Apprenticeship Programme which is supported by the Apprenticeship Manager and dedicated Support Officers, ensuring individual needs are met. The Team have just held a ‘Staff Training Marketplace’ to find out what learning and development opportunities are available to a Sefton Council employee.

Apprenticeship opportunities are also available to anyone who is interested in applying for an advertised apprenticeship within a Council department.    These apprenticeships are at various levels from level 2 to level 7 and can be an alternative to University study.
